Former Xavier Musketeers star Quincy Olivari has made a name for himself in the NBA.

Olivari received an Exhibit 10 contract with the Los Angeles Lakers after going undrafted in June and has signed a two-way NBA contract with the team, according to a report from ESPN's Shams Charania.

Last week, Olivari earned high praise from Lakers head coach JJ Redick and superstar LeBron James for his 11-point, 5-rebound performance in a preseason comeback win over the Milwaukee Bucks.

In Friday's preseason loss to the Golden State Warriors, Olivari scored a game-high 22 points on 8 of 16 shooting, hit five three-pointers and seven rebounds.

Olivari became emotional while talking about meeting his idol Steph Curry in a postgame press conference.

In four preseason appearances, Olivari averaged 8.8 points and 3.5 rebounds per game while shooting 52.2% from the field and 57.1% from distance.

Xavier fans are familiar with Olivari's skills downtown. In his only season with the Musketeers, Olivari set the school's single-season record with 3-pointers (106) in 34 games. He received all-conference honorable mention and surpassed 2,000 career college points.

Olivari was named second-team All-District 5 by the National Association of Basketball Coaches and was selected to the Division I East All-Stars for the 2024 NABC-Reese's Division I College All-Star Game.
