Three straight losses gave the Auburn Tigers an overall record of 2-4. As they head into this weekend fresh off a bye week, a lot of things will have to change if the Plains boys want to even host a bowl game.

That future doesn't seem likely right now, as the metrics don't suggest Auburn will emerge victorious against the Missouri Tigers on Saturday.

According to the ESPN Football Power Index and Matchup Prediction, Auburn only has a 32.5 percent chance of defeating Missouri at Faurot Field. If this percentage becomes a reality, it would be the fourth consecutive defeat this season.

However, the numbers have fallen since the opening metrics were released. BetMGM opened the spread at -6.5 in favor of the boys from Colombia, but it has since dropped to -4. Likewise, the over/under ratio was originally 51.5 total points, but is now at 50.5, which is more indicative of a possible defensive struggle.

Missouri's offense ranks ninth in the SEC with an average of 434 yards per game, two spots behind Auburn. However, Auburn's offense handily beats it at 187.5 yards per game, ranking it sixth in the conference.

Missouri's defense has also been impressive all year, giving up just an average of 270.8 yards per game, good enough for fourth among other SEC teams. This could pose a problem for Auburn's offense, which has struggled overall to finish drives this year.

Auburn and Missouri will face off at Faurot Field on Saturday at 11 a.m. CST. The game will be broadcast on ESPN. Click here for a Bulls broadcast/betting guide for Saturday's game.
