The first night of Taylor Swift's highly anticipated Eras Tour came to an end after three hours of some of her best hits.

The sold-out three-day event is the final leg of the global tour in the United States. According to StubHub, Miami is the best-selling stop on the Eras Tour this year.

At 8 p.m. sharp on Friday evening you could hear the roaring start of Taylor Swift's Eras Tour in front of the Hard Rock Stadium. There was heavy traffic at Chopper 6 above the stadium, with strict parking rules and tight security.

“We noticed that there are helicopters flying overhead and there are checkpoints every step of the way, so I feel really safe here,” said one ticket holder.

According to StubHub, buyers from 52 countries, excluding the US and Canada, attend the concerts – more than any other US concert in 2024.

Enthusiastic ticket holders also dressed up for Taylor Swift. They wore different outfits that represented their different eras, from country to pop.

“Um, I would be a mirror ball from the folklore era,” one fan said.

“I’m in the midnight age,” said another.

“And I am fearless. I think Fearless is just an album that encourages you to be your best and do things you wouldn't normally do. She is simply an inspiration to me. Taylor isn't just an inspiration to her fans; She is an icon whose lyrics touch so many people,” said one ticket holder. “Their lyrics and songs relate to every aspect of life. Every single song has something you can identify with.”
