'Maxxxine': Streaming release date and how to watch from anywhere

Arguably the standout horror film of the summer, Maxxxine is now available to watch at home just in time for Halloween.

Following the original slasher “X” and its predecessor “Pearl”, Maxxxine is the final film in Ti West's X trilogy and delves deeper into the twisted world of Maxine Minx, a young actress making her way into the 1980s adult film industry finds your way around.

Shortly after the events of “X,” Maxxxine follows Maxine as she moves to Los Angeles in search of fame and fortune. However, those dreams quickly turn into a nightmare when she becomes embroiled in a series of gruesome murders in the Hollywood Hills.

Starring Mia Goth and a strong supporting cast that includes singer Halsey, Elizabeth Debicki, Giancarlo Esposito and Kevin Bacon in what is arguably his seediest role yet, Maxxxine is a bloodthirsty sequel that maintains the dark comedy of its predecessors.

Here's where and when you can stream Maxxxine, along with information about how a VPN can help.

How to watch Maxxxine with a VPN

Maybe you're traveling abroad and want to stream Maxxxine on Max while you're away from home. With a VPN, you can virtually change your location on your phone, tablet or laptop to access the movie from anywhere in the world. There are other good reasons to use a VPN for streaming.

A VPN is the best way to prevent your ISP from throttling your speeds by encrypting your traffic. Using a VPN is also a good idea if you're connected to a Wi-Fi network while traveling and want to add an extra layer of privacy for your devices and logins. Streaming TV can go a little smoother with a reliable, high-quality VPN that has passed our testing and security standards.

You can use a VPN to legally stream content as long as VPNs are allowed in your country and you have a valid subscription to the streaming service you use. The USA and Canada are among the countries where VPNs are legal. However, we advise against streaming or downloading content from illegal torrent sites. We recommend ExpressVPN, but you can also choose another provider from our best list such as Surfshark or NordVPN.

Follow the VPN provider's installation instructions and select a country to stream your movie of choice on Max. Before you open the streaming app, make sure you are connected to your VPN via your selected region. If you want to stream Maxxxine on more than one device, you may need to configure each device to ensure you are logged in. Go to Settings and check your network connections to make sure you are logged in and connected to your VPN account. Now you can open the service for streaming.

If you're having trouble streaming, first make sure your VPN is operational on its encrypted IP address. Double-check that you followed the installation instructions correctly and selected the correct geographic area for viewing. If you continue to experience connection issues, you may need to restart your device. Close all apps and windows, restart your device and connect to your VPN first. Note that some streaming services have restrictions on VPN access.
