Pakistan vs England: Ben Stokes suffers the funniest sending off of all time, the internet is divided. Regard

England suffered a defeat against Pakistan by a mammoth 152 runs in the second Test in Multan, failing to reach the target of 297. But despite the failure of the middle order, England captain Ben Stokes – returning from injury – continued to finish strongly with 37, at a pace better than a run-a-ball. However, his knock came to a rather hilarious end as he not only lost his wicket but also threw his bat uncontrollably into the air while attempting to shoot.

When Stokes tried to get out and hit Pakistan spinner Noman Ali for six, he completely miscalculated. As he attempted his shot, he lost control of his bat, which ended up flying wide. Unfortunately, Stokes also lost his balance. As he found himself outside his crease, he was immediately caught off guard by wicket-keeper Mohammad Rizwan.

Stokes was the seventh England batsman to depart and the last of the recognized batsmen. His dismissal left England at 125/7 with 172 runs still needed.

It wasn't the happiest return to Test cricket for Stokes, who missed England's previous series against Sri Lanka through injury.

Thanks to the efforts of its newcomers, Pakistan secured victory. Before the game, the decision to drop Babar Azam, Shaheen Afridi and Naseem Shah was met with backlash. In the second test, however, all substitute players were convincing.

Babar's replacement – debutant Kamran Ghulam – made a century in the first innings. With the ball, spinners Sajid Khan and Noman Ali took all 20 England wickets. Sajid was the star of the first innings, scoring seven, while Noman struck out eight innings in the second.

At the age of 38, Noman shone in his return to the Test team. He picked up 11 wickets in total. However, it was bowling partner Sajid who picked up the Player of the Match award after his heroics in the first innings.
