Kamala Harris shares full Trump clip after accusing Fox News of editing

Vice President Kamala Harris' campaign said in a new post on Thursday

Harris, who was interviewed by Fox News' Bret Baier on Wednesday night, was shown the clip of Trump's Faulkner Focus town hall on the network. The former president claimed Democrats were “weaponizing the government” and conducting “false investigations.”

Harris responded to the clip that aired, saying, “Bret, I'm sorry, and with all due respect, that clip was not what he said about the 'enemy within,' what he repeated when talking about the American people.” speaks.” . That's not what you just showed.

The vice president said, “Here’s the bottom line: He’s repeated it many times, and you and I both know it. You and I both know that he has talked about using the American military against the American people. He's talked about going after people who protest peacefully, he's talked about locking people up because they disagree with him.

Newsweek emailed Harris and Trump's campaigns seeking comment.

Harris was referring to Trump's Oct. 13 interview with Fox News' Maria Bartiromo in which he responded to President Joe Biden's comments expressing concerns about a peaceful transfer of power after the election.

Speaking to Bartiromo, Trump said: “I think the bigger problem is the enemy within… We have some very bad people, some sick people, radical left-wing lunatics. And that should be handled very easily by National Guard, if necessary, or by the military if it is really necessary.”

Kamala HQ, the Democratic candidate's official campaign partner, released the full clip of Trump's response to a question about Harris' statement that the former president sounded “unhinged” and that “unchecked power is in our future.”

In the part of the clip that Harris accused Fox News of not showing, Trump said: “I thought it was a nice presentation, I wasn't unhinged. Do you know what they are? They’re a party full of jokes.”

He said: “Someone asked me if they could be brought together. I never thought they could do that because they are very different. It is the enemy from within and they are very dangerous. They are Marxists, communists and fascists, and they are sick.

He said that Democrats had “invented the Russia hoax,” that they were “dangerous to our country” and that they were “so sick and so evil.”

Harris has been criticized for inadequate media appearances and discussed immigration, abortion and transgender health care, among other topics, in her interview with Fox News. Their chances of winning the election increased as a result of the interview.

The vice president received some support from users on X for her interview, as well as some negative comments.

One user, Olivia Troye, a former homeland security adviser to Trump and Pence and now a Harris supporter, wrote: “Vice President Kamala Harris showed up and gave a powerful interview on Fox News, proving once again that she is determined “To become president.” ALL Americans. She didn't shy away from tough questions and emphasized that her focus is on delivering real solutions for everyone, regardless of politics.

However, some disagreed with these claims and felt that Harris was not doing well, as Link Lauren, a former senior adviser to Robert F. Kennedy Jr. during his campaign, wrote: “Kamala Harris just had her Fox News interview ended. It was a direct hit. “Disaster,” alongside a video discussing the interview.
