Republican vice presidential candidate JD Vance said Thursday he believes there is “something pathological going on” with Vice President Kamala Harris, leading her to blame former President Trump for problems that occurred during her time in office.

Harris insisted Wednesday during an exclusive interview with “Special Report” host Bret Baier that she would “not be a continuation of Joe Biden's presidency” after previously being unable to name anything she would would have changed his government.

In his response on “Fox & Friends,” Vance said he simply didn't believe her and suggested it would remain the same if she were elected president.

“The whole theme of her campaign is that she hasn't even met the person who is the president, even though she's his sitting vice president and ran with him,” Vance told hosts Lawrence Jones, Ainsley Earhardt and Steve Doocy.

KAMALA HARRIS DECLARES HER PRESIDENCY WILL BE “NOT A CONTINUATION” OF BIDEN’S

“She is, of course, the deciding vote in Joe Biden’s trillions in spending. She bragged about being the last person in the room when important decisions were made,” Vance continued.

“But we need to take a step back and acknowledge that there is something pathological going on here. She’s been in power for three and a half years and when you ask her what she would do differently, she talks about Donald Trump.”

Vance said Harris deflected when it was pointed out that she had been in office for nearly four years and called her answers in the interview “bizarre.”

“She says, 'Well, you know, (Trump) has been talking about politics for 10 years,'” Vance said.

“What is going through the mind of this person who cannot simply acknowledge that he has been in power for three and a half years and, as acting vice president, has some responsibility for the state of the country?” he added.

“She can do a whole range of things, she can say, 'Well, I think things are a little better than you give me credit for,' or she can say, 'Well, that wasn't entirely my fault.' .'”

Vance said Harris is instead “acting” as if Trump is responsible for “issues that have arisen during her time as sitting vice president” when it comes to the border, food affordability, “chaos on the world stage” and other issues goes.

KAMALA HARRIS AVOIDS QUESTIONS ABOUT BIDEN'S MENTAL DECREASE: “JOE BIDEN IS NOT ON THE BALLOT”

“I have never seen a person run for president as a sitting vice president and act like they have nothing to do with the state of the country that they govern,” Vance said.

Vance referenced a moment from Wednesday night's interview when Baier pressed Harris, telling “The View” last week, “I can't think of anything” she would do differently than Biden. Harris dodged the question again on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.”

“My presidency will not be a continuation of Joe Biden's presidency, and like every new president who takes office, I will bring my life experiences, my professional experiences, and fresh and new ideas. I represent a new generation of leaders.” Harris said to Baier.

She continued, “I, for example, am someone who hasn't spent most of my career in Washington, DC. I invite ideas, whether from the Republicans who support me, who were on the stage with me just a few minutes ago, and…” from business and others who can contribute to the decisions I make. “

Baier added: “We have heard a lot about these plans in the last few days. Her campaign slogan is 'A new path forward' and 'It's time to turn the page.'” You've been vice president for three and a half years, so what are you turning the page on?”

“First, I want to reflect on the last decade in which we were burdened with the kind of rhetoric from Donald Trump that was designed and implemented to divide our country and have Americans literally pointing fingers at each other. Rhetoric and… “An approach to leadership that suggests that the strength of a leader depends on who you defeat, rather than, as we all know, the strength of leadership depends on who you lift up,” Harris said.

BIDEN SAYS HARRIS handled “everything from foreign policy to domestic policy” under his administration

Baier tried to intervene, but Harris continued: “The strength of an American president who understands that the vast majority of us have more in common than what divides us.”

She stressed: “It's about starting a new chapter in the rhetoric that people are frankly tired of, Bret. People are exhausted.”

Baier asked why, after three and a half years of the Biden-Harris administration, 79% of people say the country is on the wrong path. “When you turn the page, you have been in office for three and a half years,” he demanded.

“And Donald Trump has been running since…,” Harris replied as Baier noted again that she was in office.

“Come on,” she said. “You and I both know what I’m talking about.”

“Not really, what are you talking about?” he asked before Harris turned back to Trump.
