“The Masked Singer” reveals Dust Bunny as Andy Richter

Warning: This article contains spoilers for The Masked Singer Season 12, Episode 4, “Sports Night.”

Sports Night on Wednesday's episode of The Masked Singer quickly became Comedy Roast Night.

Thanks to guest commentators Joel McHale and Nikki Glaser, both the show itself and panelists Robin Thicke, Rita Ora, Ken Jeong and Jenny McCarthy-Wahlberg were consistently enthusiastic. Heck, even McHale (often TMS guest star) and Glaser (Season 8's Snowstorm) roasted each other, with Glaser referring to McHale at the beginning of the episode as “a guy who's only here because he has to film one TV show a day.”

At one point, Glaser joked, “Welcome back to the most entertaining and unnecessary show on television,” adding that even though she's on the show, she's still unclear about the rules of it all.

At one point, Glaser and McHale showed old sports photos of each of the panelists as children, making fun of each one individually and joking, “Robin looks like he's about to bully Ken.” Speaking of Jeong: Of course, McHale had to keep up his fake feud with his community colleague, at one point aptly imitating the wild way in which Jeong makes his assumptions.

Besides, it was still sports night, so each of the participants – the brand new Group B masks – had to sing songs related to sports. Thicke and Ora kicked things off by literally getting in the ring with a duet of the Scorpions' “Rock You Like a Hurricane.”

Five all-new masks means five new masked ambassadors. This group included Ne-Yo (for Wasp), Glaser (for Chess Piece), Kelly Osbourne (for Bluebell), Dick Van Dyke (for Dust Bunny) and Keenan Allen (for Goo).

True to the theme, this group came out of the jump with momentum – Wasp brought the crowd to its feet with Justin Timberlake's “Rock Your Body,” Chess Piece got the emotions pumping with Cher's “Believe,” Bluebell rocked the stage with “We Belong.” Pat Benatar, Dust Bunny had everyone singing along to “Sweet Caroline” by Neil Diamond and Goo finished things off with a bang to “Lose Control” by Teddy Swims.

Unfortunately, someone had to go home, and this time it was Dust Bunny who, well, bit the dust. All of the panelist's final guesses were in the right range, but not entirely accurate, and for the first time this season, there was not at least one correct guess in an episode. Jeong picked Will Ferrell, McCarthy-Wahlberg picked John C. Reilly, Ora picked Jay Leno and Thicke picked Chevy Chase.

In the end, Dust Bunny was swept off the stage to reveal comedian, actor, author and long-time Conan O'Brien sidekick Andy Richter, while Wasp, Bluebell, Chess Piece and Goo were sent to next week's Barbie Night to make their march continue until the final.

The Masked Singer airs Wednesdays at 8pm ET/PT on Fox.
