“Never-Trump” Republican political strategist Stuart Stevens believes supporters of the former president will behave violently at the voting booths in November.

Stevens, one of the minds behind Mitt Romney's 2012 campaign who now advises the Lincoln Project, was responding to reports that 200,000 people had volunteered for a pro-Trump election integrity organization called Protect the Vote.

He said MAGA fans were racist and would go to great lengths to disenfranchise Black voters, including attempting to “burn” polling places.

“Look, this is 100% about race.” Let’s not pretend it’s anything else. It was like that from the beginning.'

Stevens told MSNBC, “They want to win election night through inauguration.” And if they can go in and forcefully disrupt these counting centers, how are states going to be able to certify elections? They burn down a county center in Arizona, how does the governor certify this election? What world are we in?'

He added that most volunteers are trying to suppress the vote in cities with large black voters, such as Detroit, Philadelphia and Atlanta.

“Those who voted not to certify this election were essentially trying to disenfranchise millions and millions of black voters. “It's as simple as that.”

Stevens believes MAGA fans are upset that they “can no longer stop black people from voting like they did with the same success in the '60s, although they will try in the face of these voter challenges.”

He believes that “we really have to expect” that Trump supporters will “wreak havoc” in the 2024 election.

The poll of 800 likely voters in Pennsylvania was conducted between October 5th and 8th.

35 percent of Pennsylvania voters who plan to vote for Trump in 2024 believe the elections will not be safe and fair, while 53 percent of them signaled confidence in the system. Twelve percent said they didn't know.

The same number of those who voted for the former president in 2020 also see the risk of fraud.
