What will the weather be like in Denver today? | Weather

Another day of above-average temperatures Wednesday around Denver before an approaching borderline low pushes much-needed moisture into the state.

From Friday the temperatures will also drop by 15 to 30 degrees and will last until the weekend.

Denver residents can expect sunny skies today, with a high around 79 degrees, according to the National Weather Service in Boulder. South winds will blow at a speed of 3 to 8 miles per hour.

“It will be a windy day across the Eastern Plains with wind gusts up to 30-40 mph,” the NWS said. “Although relative humidity does not meet the Red Flag Warning criteria, elevated fire weather conditions are possible this afternoon, particularly in the Palmer Divide.”
