Live Updates: Trump in Florida for town hall as Harris conducts interview with Fox News

According to a campaign official, Vice President Kamala Harris will campaign today in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, where her remarks will focus on patriotism, unifying the nation and upholding the Constitution while continuing to draw a contrast with Donald Trump.

Harris will be joined by more than 100 Republicans supporting her candidacy over the former president in a bipartisan effort to call for country over party ahead of Election Day.

According to the campaign, the vice president plans to use her remarks to condemn Trump for refusing to participate in the peaceful transfer of power in 2020 and for previously calling for the suspension of the Constitution to overturn the election. She will also warn about the threat posed by a second Trump term, while again criticizing her rival over his remark that the US military should fight “the enemy from within.”

Harris, the official said, will call on Republicans who represent Democratic values to rally behind her to overcome Trump's chaos.

The event, the campaign says, will take place at Washington Crossing, a site not far from where George Washington and his troops crossed the Delaware River in 1776, marking a major turning point in the American Revolution.

Republicans joining Harris include former Rep. Adam Kinzinger, former Georgia Gov. Geoff Duncan, former New Jersey Gov. Christine Todd Whitman and several former Trump staffers.
