Wind gusts of up to 35 miles per hour were reported behind the front, so windy conditions are expected after the passage.

This front will also bring high pressure to the area along with a cooler air mass due to the front.

Temperatures overnight

It will be chilly this evening as temperatures fall into the upper 60s by 9pm with breezy east-northeast winds. Clear skies, a cooler air mass and slowly easing winds overnight will provide sufficient conditions for conventional cooling.

This combination leads to cold temperatures that are above 30 and below 40 degrees across the board. Some areas may also experience near freezing temperatures. It will still be quite brisk as northeasterly winds dominate at around 15 mph.

A cold start to the morning and persistent cool air make for a fairly chilly afternoon. Highs are not expected to exceed the 60s as Wednesday is expected to be the coldest of these next seven days.

Southeast winds Wednesday afternoon will help temperatures warm back into the upper 70s Wednesday afternoon.
