Disgusting or delicious? We let your taste buds decide.

Two local chains appear to have teamed up to create Cincinnati's sweetest treat ever: Graeter's Skyline Chili Ice Cream.

The eyebrow-raising new flavor is listed on Kroger's website, although it's still unclear when and where it will be available to purchase.

Sarah Walters – senior director of public relations at Rmd Advertising, which represents Graeter's – confirmed that the ice cream shop and Skyline Chili are discussing a possible collaboration. However, she would neither confirm nor deny news about the specific ice cream flavor listed on Kroger's website.

The Enquirer has reached out to Skyline Chili and Kroger representatives and is awaiting responses.

What's in Skyline Chili Flavored Ice Cream?

Between the Skyrosa (a Skyline coney wrapped in LaRosa's pizza) and Dewey's latest Skyline Dip Deluxe pizza, mashups with the Cincinnati-style chili chain aren't necessarily unusual, especially as Skyline celebrates its 75th anniversary.

So what's in the new treat?

Kroger's website describes it as a “daring flavor fusion” where the ice cream is infused with chili spices. Crispy oyster crackers and shredded cheese are also swirled over the ice cream, providing a “savory contrast to the sweet treat,” according to the website.

“This unconventional marriage offers a bold, adventurous flavor experience that combines savory ice cream with crunchy elements in every bite,” Kroger’s website says.
