BLACKPINK's JENNIE performed her hit solo single “Mantra”. Jimmy Kimmel Live on October 15, following the song's recent release.

The track marks the singer's first release since signing as a solo artist with Columbia Records in collaboration with her label ODDATELIER in September.

This comes after music fans voted in a poll released on Friday (October 11). billboard, chose the BLACKPINK singer's new solo single as her favorite new music release for the week. Despite competing against several hot new releases, JENNIE's song won the vote in a landslide, scoring over 81% by the end of the poll on Sunday.

Voters chose “Mantra” over new music releases from Charli XCX, Halsey, Tyla, Jelly Roll, Becky G, GloRilla and Rod Wave.

JENNIE has had some groundbreaking years. In addition to releasing long-awaited solo music, she also made her acting debut on the HBO drama series in 2023 The idol and was made an Honorary Member of the Order of the British Empire.

In March 2024, she released a brand new collaboration with Brockhampton native Matt Champion titled “Slow Motion.”

In December, she announced that she was starting a new label and company called OA. “Hello, this is Jennie. This year has been full of successes and I am so grateful for all the love I have received,” the K-pop singer wrote on her Instagram Story. “I’m also thinking about what’s to come as I begin my solo journey in 2024 with a company I founded called OA. Please show me lots of love for my new beginning with OA and of course BLACKPINK. Thank you very much.”
