Head out just after sunset to see the once-in-a-lifetime comet Tsuchinshan-ATLAS

For most, comet Tsuchinshan-ATLAS will be at its best in the evening sky during the two-week period from October 12th to October 26th. By then, the comet will be the largest visible object in the solar system and the closest thing to Earth beyond the moon. (Source: Space.com)

Comet Tsuchinshan-ATLAS came into view of the NASA/SOHO (Solar and Heliospheric Observatory) coronagraph.

The comet's appearance coincided with a powerful solar flare and two coronal mass ejections (CME).
