Melissa McCarthy and Ben Falcone had more than one thing to celebrate this month!

The celebrity couple recently celebrated their 19th wedding anniversary on October 8 and on Monday discussed new territory they would be exploring together.

Published on Good morning America On October 14, the two announced that they were starting their own podcast as a couple called “Hildy the Barback and the Lake of Fire,” and discussed it in medieval costumes on the ABC daytime show.

Furthermore, the GMA Studio had a castle-themed backdrop specifically for their performance.

“Our girls are on this show and Glenn Close, but not at the same time…” Ben teased. “It's such a fun group of people and we get to hunt dragons!” Melissa added.

The actress had already shared an announcement about her podcast on her Instagram feed in early October, again dressed in costume.

She captioned the footage: “We are so excited for the birth of our new baby dragon! We made Hildy the Barback and Lake of Fire because we wanted to laugh with our funny, talented friends – we're so glad we did. We hope you do.” I love it as much as we do! The couple's daughters have largely stayed out of the spotlight, so fans are getting a glimpse into their family dynamics for the first time. They are proud parents of teenage daughters Vivian (16) and Georgette (14).

Melissa previously spoke about raising teenagers in an interview with People in 2023 and revealed what they think of her famous mother.

She revealed that her daughters have a nickname for her when she's having fun: “Midway Mom.”

“We were coming back from visiting my parents and driving through Midway Airport in Chicago. And for some reason, everything they asked for, I said, 'Sure, get it. Two of them. Do you want a coke?' And they were just like, “What's wrong?” “Can we have Doritos?” 'Yeah.' Something they said, 'Can we get sweatshirts?' 'You sure can.' Like with everything, I was like, 'Do you want a cozy beer?'

Melissa and Ben love having their teenagers at home, and the actress admitted that she has a hard time imagining one of them going to college in the not-too-distant future.

When asked how she felt about the future prospects, she told the publication: “No, because that will never happen. One of my daughters talked about perhaps going to school in Scotland. And literally Ben said, 'Your lip is twitching'.”

“And then the next day she walked past me and said, ‘Mom, no. You're looking for apartments in Scotland.' And I thought, 'I can get a flat in Scotland. You can't legally stop me.'”
