Does Kevin Costner know something we don't? In an exclusive interview with Entertainment tonightthe 69-year-old actor hinted YellowstonThe plot isn't finished yet.

“That was a wonderful part of my life, you know, doing that Yellowstone. And who knows, sometimes some things come back,” Kevin said in the interview. “I didn’t see that trail of dust coming towards me. But I was always open to what I started. And the five seasons were a lot for us to do. I think the story isn't over yet.

This comes as a shock to many as the actor has already confirmed that he will not be appearing in the second half of season five.

“Hello everyone, I just wanted to reach out and let you know after this long year and a half of work horizon and do whatever is required and think about it Yellowstone“, this beloved series that I love – that I know you love – I just realized I can't continue Season 5B or in the future,” Kevin revealed in a June 20, 2024 Instagram -Video. “It was something that really changed me. I loved it. And I know you liked it. And I just wanted to let you know that I won't be going back, and I love the relationship that we've been able to build, and I'll see you at the movies.

Now, deadline reports that negotiations are underway for a possible sixth season with Cole Hauser (Rip) and Kelly Reilly (Beth) at the helm. In light of new promotional videos and posts, this episodic installation is being touted as “The Epic Return.” Yellowstone– unlike the finale – one can hope there's more cowboy drama in store for fans everywhere.
