Power Outage Tracker: How many Tampa Bay area residents are still in the dark?

Hurricane Milton left a trail of destruction in the Tampa Bay area after making landfall in Siesta Key on Wednesday evening. Many residents are still experiencing power outages, but road crews from across the country are working to get the lights back on.

TECO's president and CEO says power will be restored to all customers by Thursday or sooner. He answered many questions you may have in an interview FOX 13 conducted with him Sunday afternoon. You can watch it in the video player above.

As of 11:50 a.m. Sunday, the following number of customers were without power in the Tampa Bay area.

Duke Energy Power Outages:

  • Citrus County: 313
  • Hernando County: 3,678
  • Highlands County: 6,507
  • Hillsborough County: 1
  • Pasco County: 24,042
  • Pinellas County: 272,066
  • Polk County: 13,621
  • Sumter County: 611

  • DeSoto County: 186
  • Hardee County: 0
  • Highlands County: 2
  • Manatee County: 61,810
  • Sarasota County: 57,920

  • DeSoto County: 93
  • Hardee County: 151
