CBS has shared a preview of Coldplay's upcoming interview on CBS News Sunday Morning. The band's appearance on the popular Sunday morning show is scheduled to air this weekend (September 29) at 9 a.m. ET.

The band appears on the television show to discuss their upcoming new studio album, “Moon Music,” due out October 4, 2024 via Atlantic Records.

ANTHONY MASON: There is an incredible sense of community in your concerts.

JONNY BUCKLAND: I think that's where we're happiest. I think we got to that point after being in a band for 25 years and then everything finally kind of came together and we accepted each other in a way that maybe we never have before.

ANTHONY MASON: Is this just a process of time?

CHRIS MARTIN: Well, I think it's a process that takes time and hard work. We've worked pretty hard on how we communicate with each other and give each other space. We tour a lot slower now. We only do about 65 shows a year, which isn't a lot.
