Several members of the curse-breaking 2004 Red Sox team arrive at the Mohegan Sun – NBC Connecticut 20th anniversary event

Twenty years ago this month, the Boston Red Sox won their first World Series in 86 years. The popular team broke the “Curse of the Bambino” with a victory on October 27, 2004.

It is one of those storied victories in sports and in Red Sox Nation, celebrated in Boston, in the parts of Connecticut where fans cheer the Sox, and beyond, wherever the crowd flocked.

Mohegan Sun will host “Reverse The Curse: 20 Year Anniversary” in November and include a special question-and-answer session with some members of the trophy-winning team.

On November 9th from 8 to 9 p.m., Manny Ramirez, Johnny Damon, Mike Timlin, Alan Embree and Keith Foulke will join this session to discuss the historic event.

Broadcaster Jayme Parker of Outside the Fame will “dive in, giving Boston fans a glimpse into the past and present as these former champions share stories, reminisce and go behind the scenes,” according to Mohegan Sun.

Tickets are available through Ticketmaser.com and the Mohegan Sun Box Office.

All guests must be at least 21 years old to attend, and Mohegan Sun said seating cannot be guaranteed. Every ticket comes with a free drink.
