Minnesota started on the 23rd.

Max Brosmer's deep pass down the right sideline went out of bounds and became incomplete. Brosmer passed for three yards. On the third and seventh, Brosmer passed and was tackled for a clean sheet, but UCLA was ruled offside. On third-and-2, Darius Taylor avoided a tackle for a loss and ran for three yards and a first down.

After the two-minute timeout, Brosmer attempted another low shot down the right sideline, but it was blocked by KJ Wallace. On second-and-10, Brosmer ran for eight yards. On third-and-2, Carson Schwesinger sacked Brosmer, resulting in a loss of nine yards.

On fourth-and-11 at the Minnesota 33, Minnesota called a timeout. The Gophers then punted.

Logan Loya returned the ball to the UCLA 37 from 18 yards.

Ethan Garbers threw 13 yards to Titus Mokiao-Atimalala and he scored with 41 seconds left. Garbers ducked out of a collapsing pocket and ran for two yards before exiting with 34 seconds left. TJ Harden broke three tackles for a 32-yard gain.

On first down at the Minnesota 16, Garbers' pass out of the end zone was incomplete. On second down, Garbers' pass along the driving side of the end zone was incomplete. With just seconds left, Mateem Bhaghani hit a 34-yard field goal, extending the UCLA lead as time expired.
