There's a theme among the new releases from the top streaming services this week, and it's no surprise considering how close we are to Halloween. That's right, horror is the focus and we've picked two new spooky series alongside a spooky true crime drama and a new A24 film to keep the October spook going.

While we didn't include any documentaries in this week's list, if you're looking for something a little different than fiction, head over to Max to see it I'm Not a Monster: The Lois Riess Murders, Watch Netflix Sweet Bobby: My catfish nightmare or Hulu (that's Disney Plus for anyone outside the US) for Fanatical: Tegan and Sara's catfishing. We also left out the Australian remake of The office on Prime Video, streaming worldwide (except the US) from October 18th.
